Your schedule for reading Reading Lolita in Tehran is as follows:

Part 3-
For tuesday = 157-189
For Wednesday = 190-221
For Thursday = 222 to the end of part 3

Part 4-
On Friday = read 30 pages of part 4
On Saturday = read 30 more pages
On Sunday = read 30 more pages (to the end).

Due tomorrow (friday):
- Finish reading part 1 of RLT.
- Hand in one copy per group of character studies.

Finish reading Sailor. Take notes on chapters.

Read Mishima article's and make notes. ( homework from last class).

Formulate one World Lit question that you will be assigning to and marking the response from a fellow students. Make sure your question is clear!

Read and take notes on the remaining chapters in part 1 (Summer) of Sailor. (you'll read up to page 92. Make sure you read because if you fall behind, it will add unnecessary stress to your life when you have to catch up).

Read Japanese culture and Traits handout in course reader

Read chapter 1&2 of Sailor
- make notes

Read the end of HoS. And bring all of your presentation handouts to class on Monday so that we can critique the thesis statements! Yay!

List of groups with assigned HoS chapters. Ch.6 is due Monday and we do two presentations a day. You do your own math.

Read HoS Chapter 5.
Expand in the significance of Neruda's poem.
Note significant imagery (w/ ref).
How is the relation b/w Pedro; Clara developing or shifting?
Look up "Bolshevism". In what context is Bolshevism referenced on pg. 120?
Give chapter a new title. Explain.

Homework for chapter 5 of HoS (or ask Allen D)

- read the end of HoBA act 1
- answer the questions assigned in class (typed, formal). Use supports from text.
- Due next class.

- Read up to and including chapter 4 of HoS. Test tomorrow.
- watch Allende video on class website.
- look up biblical reference: Barabas.
